The first chief minister of Rajasthan, Hiralal Shastri, was a Politician and social worker who was a proponent of equal rights for members within the Constituent Assembly. Hiralal Shastri was born to a peasant family in Jobner town of Jaipur district on November 24, 1899. Later, Shastri completed his graduation from Maharaja College securing the first position in 1921. Hiralal Shastri was the founder of Banasthali University which is one of India's biggest girl's universities. Hiralal Shastri also formed his party named Janta Party in 1952 but later it was merged in Congress. Hiralal Shastri got elected as a member of parliament from Sawai Madhopur.
